Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the IT infrastructure within the manufacturing environment. This role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support manufacturing processes and business operations.

• Oversee, administer, and maintain IT systems (M365, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, etc.), system integration, and its compliance with industry best practices.
• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) tailored to requirements.
• Configure and troubleshoot the firm's networks, servers, infrastructure, and services.
• Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
• Taking ownership of necessary software and infrastructural transitions.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
• Monitor network and infrastructure performance and ensure system availability and reliability, particularly for manufacturing systems.
• Troubleshoot network issues and outages, minimizing downtime in manufacturing operations.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
• Assemble and configure computer hardware, servers, operating systems, and applications.
• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Perform or delegate regular backup operations, implementing robust data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

• Proven experience as a Network Administrator, System Administrator, or similar role.
• Deep understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
• In-depth knowledge of network management and monitoring tools.
• Experience in office relocations
• Experience with firewalls, VPN, and other security measures.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems and processes is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator).
