Role Summary

Senior System Sales Engineer is responsible for overseeing our Network product portfolio and offerings, driving presales activities, and advising customers on Network solutions. This role requires a strong technical foundation in networking and particularly, Juniper technologies, as well as the ability to engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide expert guidance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee networking product portfolio (Juniper Networks, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, and more) and roadmap, ensuring alignment with market demand and DiGiCOR’s strategic objectives.
  • Project design and implementation
  • Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access
  • Provide technical expertise and presales support to customers, guiding them through the solution design process, including product demonstrations, ROI/TCO analysis, and answering relevant technical questions to qualify opportunities.
  • Lead the feasibility Testing Process, SAT and UAT with partners and clients.
  • Lead product demonstrations, technical discussions, and proof of concept (PoC) deployments.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, solution proposals, and responses to RFPs and Tenders.
  • Scope technical requirements, providing network design input, and ensuring proposed solutions align with customer needs.
  • Conduct needs assessments and provide technical consultations on Juniper technologies, including routing, switching, and security products.
  • Maintain relevant Juniper certifications (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE).
  • Provide internal training and knowledge transfer sessions to sales teams and technical staff on Juniper solutions.

Role requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as sales engineer or technical presales role, focused on networking solutions.
  • Proven track record of designing network solutions for enterprise or service provider environments.
  • In-depth understanding of Juniper networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and SD-WAN.
  • Significant experience in IP and mobile network design, with proficiency in MPLS, network performance optimization, and application performance assurance.
  • Hands-on experience with Juniper products such as Junos OS, MX series routers, EX series switches, SRX series firewalls, and Mist AI solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking and automation technologies (e.g., Juniper Contrail, SDN, and Network Automation).
  • Familiarity with ISO27001, ITIL, or similar frameworks for IT governance and security is desirable.

About You:

  • Working knowledge of OT / IT Networks, IoT and real-time safety related systems.
  • Understanding of the feasibility Testing Process, SAT and UAT.
  • Understanding of Integration Techniques, Interfaces, and DevOps Concepts.
  • Ability to present technical solutions that are fit-for-purpose and ensure a value for money.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management capabilities.
  • A proven track record of successful delivery
  • Experience in TOGAF, Juniper Networks & Cisco
  • Awareness of Data Management concepts
  • API design
  • Agile work practices (such as SCRUM and KANBAN)
